Micro-Star International has announced the release of new UEFI firmware for LGA1700 motherboards designed to address instability issues with 13th/14th generation Intel Core processors (Raptor Lake). They are based on microcode version 0x129 and are already available for download from the manufacturer’s official website.
At the moment, the latest UEFI versions can be downloaded by owners of MSI MEG Z790 Godlike Max, MEG Z790 Ace Max, MPG Z790 Carbon Max WIFI II, MPG Z790 Carbon WIFI, MAG Z790 Tomahawk Max WIFI and Z790 MPower motherboards. The vendor promises to release firmware for other boards with Intel 600-/700-series logic in the coming weeks. The download link can be found in the support section at motherboard page.
