Warner Bros. Discovery reported a year-over-year decline in gaming revenue this quarter, with a 41% drop in its WB Games division, where Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League struggled not only because of its poor game quality but also because of stiff competition.
Last quarter, WB Discovery boss David Zaslav blasted Suicide Squad as “disappointing.” The flop cost the company an estimated $200 million.
However, the game is not closed, and recently a new season even started.
