On August 25, Hobby World Publishing House, together with specialized clubs and the community of experienced wargamers, invites everyone to the first specialized festival WARFORGE FEST 2024! This is a unique event that will unite fans of military-tactical board games with miniatures from all over Russia.
The festival will take place on August 25 in Moscow on the second floor of the Moskvorechye shopping center and will begin at 10:00.
Guests and participants of the festival will have more than 50 gaming zones, where everyone will be able to try their hand at various wargames such as Warhammer 40k, Star Wars Shatterpoint, Battletech Classic, Fallout Wasteland Warfare, Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game and many others. There will also be an opportunity to attend training sessions, where beginners and experienced players will be able to take part in master classes from professionals in this field. The event will have a painting zone, where anyone can add life to the figures.
Participants will be able to visit the fair, where the best hobby shops such as Hobby Games, Warzone Studio, Outpost, Mini War Painter and others will present their goods, including miniatures, accessories and game sets.
Wargames are not just games, but unique strategic experiences. They are distinguished by a combination of players’ love for immersion in the game universe and creativity in assembling and preparing miniatures for the game. There is a place for a pronounced sports component, as well as a high degree of organization of player communities. Wargames are also very large-scale – players control entire armies and can feel like real commanders.
Such games will definitely be interesting not only to those who are keen on wargames, but also to “intellectual athletes” (chess, checkers, go), fans of military history (books, films, TV series, video games), fans of fantasy (books, films, TV series, video games) and people who are inclined to handicrafts (assembling miniatures, decorating dioramas).
Any beginner can dive into this hobby. The event will feature training gaming sessions, and masters will tell you how to assemble your first army and start playing. More experienced players will be able to get acquainted with other wargames.
