In the meantime, however, further details have arrived regarding one of the most recent masterpieces from Remedy: we are talking about Alan Wake 2.
With the latest official information, in fact, we know that Alan Wake 2 has recovered most of the budget for development and marketing behind the last major production of late 2023. Almost a year after the title’s debut, therefore, it has been confirmed that the numbers recorded by the sales of the sequel to Alan Wake are doing very well. This shows that Remedy is unstoppable, as told to you during the review of Alan Wake 2, the terrible interactive nightmare that will turn one in October.
Alan Wake 2 has sold 1.3 million copies, making it Remedy’s fastest-selling game ever. This is a pretty solid result, especially considering that the physical version of the title has yet to hit the shelves, and that number is set to grow. However, during the last meeting with investors, another piece of data emerged: as mentioned above, Alan Wake 2 has so far recovered 80% of its budget, which hasn’t yet allowed Remedy to earn royalties.
