It’s never too late to re-release old games and make money from them again. That’s what Bethesda Softworks decided to do and, together with id Software, announced a collection of the classic Doom from 1993 and Doom II from 1994.
This edition includes the most complete and improved versions of the legendary games that became the founders of the shooter genre. The games will support 4K at 120 frames per second on compatible systems, the sound will be improved. Fonts have been fixed, translations into new languages have been added and some other minor changes have been made. The edition includes new story episodes and multiplayer for 16 people. There will be official support for mods.
Doom + Doom II Collection is now available in Steam at a price of 349 UAH. The re-release is also available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Game Pass.
