After years of waiting, the Mountains of Eternal Winter update has finally arrived for the console version of Black Desert, bringing a new cold zone, quests, and monsters.
Mountains of Everwinter is a brand new region (for console players) with a new questline, boss, and a whole bunch of new locations to grind monsters.
The update also adds the Frostbite debuff to the game. You’ll get Frostbite if you spend too much time in a snowstorm, and these storms will appear randomly in the region. At higher altitudes, you’ll be much more likely to encounter a blizzard.
In conjunction with the release of this long-awaited update, the game is hosting a series of events to support all adventurers, including a 500% character experience buff, login rewards, and a free additional character slot.
