Raphael Colantonio, the creator of the legendary Arkane Studios, presented his new project. It is an immersive action game with role-playing elements and a first-person view. The game is inspired by Dishonored and Prey and is made in the style of retro-futurism. The development is being handled by WolfEye Studios, which previously released the isometric Weird West. But in addition to Colantonio himself, the new team also includes other people from Arkane Studios.
The project is currently in its early stages, and the title of the upcoming game has not even been announced. A few screenshots have been presented so far, and X is on the web published a short 10-second teaser. The first images show us a gloomy location, a robot automaton and some kind of machine with technicians. Stylistically, it resembles a more modern version of the Dishonored world.
The developers are currently looking for a partner and publisher for the future project. They plan to launch alpha testing in 2025.
Interestingly, Colantonio left Arkane in 2017 because he was tired of developing big projects. Since his departure, the studio has not released a single project on the level of Dishonored or Prey, and last year’s Redfall was a resounding failure.
