EverQuest II’s next major update, update 126, The Immeasurable Menagerie, will be available for open beta testing next week.
The update will bring a new storyline and much more to the game. The initial idea of the update and some details were published in the producer’s letter in July
Miragul is an erudite mage without equal, able to move across worlds and time thanks to his vast knowledge and research. But this time, something in Miragul has changed.
Miragul left his laboratory “for something unrelated to time, reality, or celestial intervention,” and he took with him items from the times and places he had once visited, to assemble them into one, carefully designed arena.
For those interested in testing update 126, the open beta is set to launch on August 13, 2024. To do so, you’ll need to select the game’s beta client in the launcher and download it.
