When will “GTA 6” be released? The Rockstar blockbuster is mentioned in the latest launch lineup, but still without a date. The planned time period has not changed and other games also appear on the list.
Take-Two has presented its latest quarterly report. The publisher earned 1.34 billion US dollars in the three months. The net loss for the quarter was 262 million US dollars, which was partly due to the takeover of the “Borderlands” developer Gearbox.
For the entire fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, Take-Two expects contractual revenue (net bookings) of between $5.57 billion and $5.67 billion. “GTA 6” is not included in this forecast. The Rockstar blockbuster will not be released until the next fiscal year, as an overview of the current release plans makes clear.
GTA 6 still planned for fall 2025
“NBA 2K25” is a new part of the popular basketball series that will be released in September. The games “WWE 2K25” and “Sid Meier’s Civilization 7” are also planned for the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year (January to March 2025).
In the case of “GTA 6,” the previous statement remains. The Rockstar blockbuster will be released in autumn 2025. There has apparently been no delay here. However, Take-Two has still not revealed a precise date.

Take-Two could also gain a foothold in the football sector sooner or later. In recent months, rumors have been circulating about the awarding of the “FIFA” license to the publisher. Take-Two commented on this in its latest annual report:
The online mode of “GTA 5” continues to have a positive impact on Take-Two’s revenues and is still widely used a decade after its launch. The Rockstar title is now available on the third generation of consoles. More than 200 million copies have been sold since its launch in 2013.
