More details about the Intel Core Ultra 200 (Arrow Lake-S) desktop processor lineup have surfaced online. We already know that it will include Core Ultra 5, 7, and 9 chips. New information indicates that Intel is also preparing Core Ultra 3 200-series models in the LGA1851 design.
The above-mentioned processors should be labeled as Core Ultra 3 205 and Ultra 3 215. Both new products are credited with eight cores: four Lion Cove P-cores and Skymont E-cores. There is no support for Hyper-Threading technology, as with other Arrow Lake chips. By the way, the same configuration is typical for Lunar Lake mobile CPUs, designed for use in thin and light laptops.
As per tradition, Intel will start with the release of overclocking K-series processors. The Core Ultra 5 245K, Core Ultra 7 265K, and Core Ultra 285K models, as well as the first LGA1851 motherboards, should go on sale this fall. Solutions with a locked multiplier, including the Core Ultra 3, will not be released until next year.
