On July 25, 2024, another new expansion for the ongoing mega-phenomenon The Sims 4 was released – more grown-up than ever! The Sims 4: In Love doesn’t have countless new features, but it does have a general overhaul of the entire romance and dating system. Our moderators Maci Naeem Cheema & Michael Grünwald explain how cool that really is with their colleague Annika Menzel (The Nintendo Podcast). In addition, we also talk about the information and expectations we have so far for The Sims 5 (“Project Rene”, currently in progress at EA). The first leaks were released a few months ago, we analyze the first gameplay, but also look at possible competitors that are due to appear in the coming months and years. Included: the pretty indie game Paralives, the Paradox fiasco Life By You and also the Korean, almost photorealistic life sim inZOI. We hope you enjoy the episode!
Community appeal: We will celebrate Chris’s farewell one more time, and we look forward to every comment and every submission. So if you have any film recommendations or personal questions for Chris, please let us know. We also look forward to any feedback, whether via Spotify, on the various social media channels or simply in the comments section here on PC Games. We hope you enjoy the current issue!
