Firaxis Games, 2K and Take-Two presented a new part of the popular 4X strategy series Civilization in June. They promise to show a lot of gameplay of the game as part of the Gamescom show on August 20, and the latest report from the publisher clarified the planned release dates of the expected game.
Previously, the release of Civilization VII was planned for 2025. According to the latest report from Take-Two, the game is promised to be released before the end of the current financial year – before April 1, 2025 calendar year. Thus, the release of the game is planned from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025. Probably, the exact release date will be announced as part of an extensive gameplay demonstration at Gamescom.
Civilization VII is planned to be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Switch and PC. Previously, the developers showed only the debut teaser, which can be seen below.
