In Deadlink, you are one of the first agents recruited for the experimental Deadlink Protocol. You control a combat hull and fight your way through slums, laboratories, office buildings and warehouses.
You will always be outnumbered in your battles and will have to fight against hordes of enemies. It is normal that you will fail.
During your runs, you collect credits and experience points, which you can use to unlock new skills.
You also occasionally unlock new combat shells. As soon as you change areas on the map, you can decide whether you want to visit a new perk, a weapon mod or the shop. You traverse 10 different areas per map. In the last area, a boss fight awaits you that you have to survive.
