There are exactly forty days to go until the Early Access launch of EA Sports FC 25, set for September 20, 2024, and EA Sports has not yet revealed the ratings it intends to assign to the players included in the game. This, however, does not prevent us from making some speculations about it… here are our predictions!
EA Sports FC 25 Rating: Predictions on the strongest footballers
In an attempt to predict who the strongest players in EA Sports FC 25 could be, we’ve reviewed the FC 24 ratings and reframed them in light of last season’s performances. In our opinion, Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland should retain their 91 ratings, having played excellent seasons crowned by plenty of goals and titles in their respective leagues, not to mention the Frenchman’s multi-million dollar transfer to Real Madrid. Vinicius Jr. could join this pair, who after 24 goals scored between LaLiga, the Champions League and various cups could earn a nice +2 and reach 91. Likewise, Harry Kane could also reach 91 (with a +1 compared to last year), given that he is in the form of his life and has also performed well in the Bundesliga with 36 goals.
After his last exceptional season at Manchester City, Rodri has confirmed himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, if not the best, so we expect an improvement from EA Sports FC 24. We predict a +1, which would bring him to 90, but we would not be surprised if the increase was greater. We also expect a step forward for Virgil Van Dijk, always a certainty for his Liverpool, and a step back for Kevin De Bruyne, so both at 90.
We expect the biggest leap forward in any case for the cover man Jude Bellingham, who contributed significantly to Real Madrid’s conquest of La Liga and the Champions League. We are conservative and expect a +4, which would bring him to 90, but we would not be surprised at all if he ended up reaching 91. We close our top 10 by predicting a step back for the immense Robert Lewandowski, who would drop to a still respectable 89, and stability for Mohammed Salah, who would remain at 89. To recap:
