Rockstar’s open-world western Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold over 65 million copies in just under six years.
Recently, Take-Two Interactive released its Financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, which ended June 30, 2024. Also included: updated sales figures for the company’s most successful games.
While Grand Theft Auto V continues to sell around 200 million units, Red Dead Redemption 2, also developed by Rockstar Games, was able to increase its sales by one million to a total of 65 million units sold in the first quarter.
Almost six years after the release of the open-world western and the now largely discontinued support of the online mode Red Dead Online, Take-Two plans to continue to keep players interested with free outfits based on content creators and monthly bonuses.
