While we patiently await the announcement of Nintendo Switch 2, which according to insiders should happen by the end of this year, rumors about it continue to emerge from the network. The latest come from Famiboards, more precisely from a user who swears to have his hands on a shipping document for the console.
According to the information he read, the future Switch should be able to transmit video games to the television without the need to be connected to the Dock. In other words, it could perform home video game streaming. According to the user, the dock would also be equipped with a new cooling system, while the package would include a 60W charger.
Since we cannot guarantee the authenticity of this information and in the absence of official communications from Nintendo, we advise you to take these rumors with a pinch of salt and use them only as a starting point for discussion. It is true, however, that from a new console it is reasonable to expect both a new cooling system and greater charging power. As for the possibility of transmitting video games to the television screen, it would make home use even more comfortable. This feature would also open the doors to the dual-screen gameplay characteristic of the Wii U and the DS and 3DS portable consoles, as well as backwards compatibility with their games. An interesting prospect indeed, but one that unfortunately, we would like to reiterate, cannot yet be considered certain.
