Director James Cameron made a surprise appearance on stage at D23 to reveal the secrets of Avatar 3. It’s official: Fire and Ash.
In the new part of the franchise, viewers will be immersed in the amazing world of Pandora, meet the Navi of Fire, and experience diverse cultures and exotic biomes. In addition, Cameron emphasized that the film will be filled with more vivid emotions than anything that has come before.
The premiere is scheduled for December 19, 2025.
The first Avatar grossed a stratospheric $2.9 billion. The second Avatar lagged behind with $2.3 billion.
