On their official Discord server, the Pax Dei team posted a preview of some of the changes coming to many areas of the game.
Some of the major changes, of course, are in the core areas of gameplay. PvE will see some improvements, with solo PvE content, as well as changes to enemy behavior and the “responsiveness” of combat itself. PvP elements will also see the introduction of “knights and soldiers,” which promise to “bring PvP to worlds beyond Lionesse,” the current PvP zone.
Social features in the world, such as crafting, building, and trading, will also see improvements. The game will feature a “Compendium” that will show completed recipes, as well as types of materials and new levels of beams and stone houses. Players will also eventually be able to create player-to-player trading platforms in their villages, as well as the addition of gold as a currency in PvE, although no details have been released yet. All of this is complemented by a visual update to crafting materials that better reflect their quality.
Other upcoming changes include a new compass, a friends list, German and French localizations, and additional story options for clans. The details of almost all of the changes are still unclear, but they give a general idea of what Mainframe Industries is working on in Early Access.
