Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Won’t Give “Erotica” Points for Cleavage Photos
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will not award “Erotica” points for taking cleavage and crotch photos like original https://t.co/NaDep9RnyP— AUTOMATON WEST (@AUTOMATON_ENG) August 9, 2024
According to a recent Capcom press release seen by Famitsu and translated by Automaton, Dead Rising’s “Erotica” photography category will no longer be present in the remaster.
In Dead Rising, players can earn experience points known as PP (Prestige Points) through various activities, one of which is photography.
The game will rate players’ photos on certain categories such as “Horror” (for photos of zombies or gory scenes), “Brutality” (for photos of violence), and “Outtake” (for photos of funny scenes or zombies with objects on their heads).
One of the categories is “Erotica”, which allows PP players to take photos of women’s cleavage, underwear, or revealing clothing.
Given that Dead Rising was released in 2006, the implication is that what may have been acceptable then may no longer be valid in 2024.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will release on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam) on September 19, 2024.
