There are a few weeks left before the start of autumn, which is traditionally rich in major game releases. But there are still several interesting projects in August, including for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S consoles. Next “game week”, from August 13 to 16, a couple of major updates for games will be released on Xbox consoles, as well as a number of interesting projects.
Main releases of the week
Green Hell – August 14. The popular survival game will receive an update to Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 next week. At the same time, support for the game on Xbox One and Playstation 4 ends. It is also important to note that console players with this update will have access to the 17-19 update, which was previously released on PC, but did not appear on consoles. The update is free for players who already own copies of the project on the same platform.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 – August 15. Another game is being discontinued on Xbox One and Playstation 4, with a full focus on new consoles and PC. The developers of Hunt: Showdown 1896 promise a major update to the popular shooter: the game switches to a new engine, receives an update to a number of core mechanics and new content, including a new map.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits – August 15. After a successful release on Playstation and PC consoles 3 years ago, the game is coming to Xbox Series X | S consoles. This is a third-person adventure project that will receive some new content on Xbox consoles.
