Boss Team Games works on two games based on the horror film “Halloween” by John Carpenter. The director himself is involved in the development of one of the projects, the game is being created on the Unreal Engine 5.
Plot details for both projects are not being disclosed. According to the developers, the games will give fans the opportunity to “relive moments” from “Halloween,” and their characters will be “classic heroes” of the film.
The director hopes that the game he is creating will be able to “scare the living daylights out” of fans, but he is also not ready to discuss the project in detail.
The untitled Unreal Engine 5 game is currently in early development, with no word on the status of the second project. The games are being developed in partnership with Compass International Pictures and Further Front.
Boss Team Games’ last major project was the asymmetrical multiplayer horror Evil Dead: The Game based on The Evil Dead. The game, released in May 2022, was shut down in mid-2023.
