At the moment, many Game of Thrones fans don’t really know whether to laugh or cry. There are actually many reasons to look forward to the future. So what happens next in Game of Thrones?
Even before the third season of House of the Dragon starts, fans can look forward to new material from the world of Game of Thrones. The first scenes of the new series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have already been shot, and according to author George RR Martin, the launch is supposedly planned for early 2025. A short teaser trailer recently caused quite a stir.
In addition, rumors and speculation continue to circulate about a spin-off series that revolves around the conqueror Aegon I Targaryen, who was the first to sit on the Iron Throne and conquered almost all of Westeros. However, things are looking much bleaker for another project. Jon Snow himself is now destroying any hope that might still exist in this regard.

Some time ago we reported that the planned series about Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targaryen, had been put on ice. The project was not off to a good start, and there were always contradictory reports about the status of production. “It’s off the table right now because we just haven’t found the right story that we’re excited enough about to tell. So we’ve decided to put things on hold for now. There may come a time when we’ll start working again. But for now, no, it’s definitely on hold.”
