Polish studio The Farm 51 has officially announced the post-apocalyptic shooter Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, a sequel to the game Chernobylite, released in 2021. The project is being developed for PC and unnamed consoles, and the release is expected in 2025.
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter with role-playing elements and an open world. In the new part, players will once again go on a journey through parallel worlds in search of a valuable material called “Chernobylite”. They will have to explore a huge world inspired by the real Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
In the sequel to Chernobylite, you can create and level up your character, choosing parameters and skills that affect combat effectiveness and communication style with other characters. The combat system allows you to fight both in close combat and at a distance using a wide arsenal of firearms. The game offers a non-linear storyline, where every decision affects the development of events. Players can fight for influence and negotiate with various factions, and for the first time in the series, carry out cooperative missions for several people.
