Kinoko Nasu FGO Interview Part 2 – Early August 2024 is the day of the 9th anniversary celebration of the Fate/Grand Order or FGO game. The game has gone through many things, from positive to negative for both developers and its community.
Even in recent times, many Gamers have said that FGO will soon be End of Service or EOS. Although it is only a rumor, it seems that the statement from Kinoko Nasu as the creator of the Fate Series has increased Gamers’ confidence that this game will be EOS. Is that true?
Kinoko Nasu’s Plans for FGO Part 2
What is Nasu’s plan for the ending of FGO Part 2?
In an exclusive Famitsu interview (via Reddit) with Kinoko Nasu as the creator of the Fate Series in the context of the 9th Anniversary of Fate/Grand Order, there are many interesting information revealed. One of them is how Nasu seems to want to finish FGO Part 2 Cosmos in Lostbelt.
When asked about future content plans considering the game is almost 10 years old, Nasu explained that he already has several future plans.
He even explained that the developer team and players actually felt burnt out with FGO because most games don’t last 10 years.
Are the developer team and players feeling burnt out?
Even so, the time they have spent together for 10 years is more reason for him to give a beautiful ending. Therefore, he plans to ignite the fire in his body. But not like the one in one of the Fires of Rubicon endings in Armored Core VI.
In addition, Nasu tried his best to make the 10 years something to miss. He also explained that some preparations have been made by him together with Type-Moon and Lasengle for the 10th Anniversary celebration.
Omen FGO Will EOS?
Is this a sign that FGO will be EOS?
From Kinoko Nasu’s statement, it seems to give the impression that FGO is about to EOS. Responding to this, Nasu explained that nothing is eternal in this world, everything will die one day. But that doesn’t mean the game just ends like that. That’s because FGO will end with a big Main Story and from there no one will know what it will be like later.
Then when asked if Nasu had any ideas on how to end it, he could only answer a few things. Kinoko Nasu explained that he could not guarantee anything for the ending of FGO.
But one thing is for sure, he always said that when Part 2 is finished, it can make him free. So he wants to be able to rest in peace after FGO Part 2 is finished, even though it is impossible to happen in reality.
After further investigation, there is indeed a lot of talk about how FGO Part 2 will end. However, in several previous interviews, Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi as Artists who have long worked with the creator revealed that FGO will continue to Part 3.
They often say that Part 2 is the end of the Main Story that has been made for a long time. It is still unknown what will happen when Part 3 runs.
However, in an interview Takeuchi revealed that the 11th Anniversary of FGO could possibly happen. This indicates that the FGO game is still a game project that will continue in the future.
That’s the information about Kinoko Nasu wanting to finish FGO Part 2 quickly which makes the community feel that this game will soon be EOS even though it has not been officially confirmed. What do you think about this news?
