How many times have we bragged about having a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and maybe even a nice Switch? Well, a hat trick, what could be better? In reality, we are just amateurs compared to this man who just entered the record books for the most consoles connected to a single screen.
444 consoles to be precise (in reality the count also includes computers, plug and plug consoles and other devices) connected to a single monitor with an ingenious system of cables, extension cords, adapters, switches and sockets.
The holder of this record is called Ibrahim Al-Nasser, he comes from Saudi Arabia and is a collector of video games and consoles with thousands of pieces in his collection. The oldest console in his possession is a 1972 Magnavox Odyssey while the most recent is a PS5 Slim, in between there is everything from NES to PlayStation passing through Nintendo 64, ATARI VCS 2600, GameCube and so on and so forth.
Initially, Ibrahim Al-Nasser did not want to break any records, but simply find a way to play with his consoles without having to constantly plug them in and out. After studying a system with switches and converters, he realized he could connect all 444 consoles at the same time, hence the idea of contacting Guinness World Records, which certified his achievement.
