Since new projects have been announced that could significantly revolutionize the historic series that began in 1996 on the first PlayStation, Sega Saturn and PC, Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft, British adventurer, has returned to the spotlight, even being elected as the most iconic character in the history of video games in a poll held during the 2024 BAFTA Awards.
This ended up involving the vast community of cosplayers, and from nostalgic ideas aimed at representing Lara and her faithful butler Winstor by recreating their square designs from the PS1 era, they ended up exploring other titles that made the adventurer famous. In fact, as you can see in the image below, the Russian enthusiast LizkaNovi wanted to recreate a particular moment from Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Released in 2008, this title represents the last part of the trilogy that began 2 years earlier with Tomb Raider: Legend and shows the continuation of Lara’s journey to find her mother, escorted to the legendary island of Avalon. During her search, Lara ends up near some waterfalls, and the fan wanted to recreate that moment, playing the role of the adventurer. The chosen outfit is the black wetsuit with some yellow details, and we can say that Lizka managed to recreate the scene in question quite well.
We remember that some fans had fun creating a good Lara cosplay even via AI and we leave you with our review of the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered collection.
