The Guinness Book of Records is full of truly bizarre world records. Now a gamer from Saudi Arabia has set another incredible record: The man named Al-Nasser actually managed to connect 444 different game consoles to just one unique television.
If that’s not enough, Al-Nasser can activate any of his consoles directly if he wants and play the corresponding games on the TV straight away. How did Al-Nasser achieve this technical feat?
Unbelievable: 444 consoles on just one TV
Al-Nasser is an enthusiastic game collector who owns an incredible 444 consoles from several decades. Al-Nasser says the oldest model is the Magnavox Odyssey, and his newest console is the PlayStation 5 Slim. But his favorite console is the Sega Genesis, as the new record holder reveals in an interview with Guinness.
To achieve his incredible record attempt, Al-Nasser connected the 444 consoles from his collection to his TV via a large number of HDMI switches. To keep track of everything, the record holder created a table so that he can always see which console is assigned to which switch. With the help of the HDMI switches, the record holder is able to play any console from his collection at any time without having to touch a single connection cable.

135 hours of continuous gaming: Twitch stops world record attempt prematurely
Last weekend, an American PC gamer attempted to set a new world record for “continuous gaming” – documented by a 135-hour live stream via Twitch. Everything went smoothly until the third day, then the streaming platform Twitch canceled the live stream. The operator cited “a violation of the terms of use” as the reason.
Guinness has officially confirmed Al-Nasser’s record. Now the question is whether this world record will ever be beaten and whether there will be anyone with the ambition to beat Al-Nasser’s achievement. And of course Al-Nasser’s collection will not be topped so quickly. Therefore, this record by the passionate gambler from Saudi Arabia will certainly remain unbeaten for a long time.
