There is still no talk of manually recreating cities.
Flight simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator has received an update that improves several regions of the game world: Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The update is distributed free of charge and is already available to all owners of the game.
During the reworking of the regions, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator improved the quality of many landmarks: palaces, monuments, churches and entire cities were reworked. However, the video clearly shows that not all of them were created manually.
In some cases, the flight simulator developers have only improved the quality of automatic object generation based on satellite images and elevation maps. However, castles, bridges and churches were almost certainly recreated manually – they look very decent.
