To find the Drunken Boar and begin his questline, travel to the Fear Rock (Stone Plain) altar in Yellowwind Ridge. Face the altar and run down the road to your right until you reach the end.
The drunk boar will sit alone in the center of a large deserted area. When you meet him, he will ask you to bring him something to sober him up:
Raise the cup and you will find the answer in the sky. Who says there is no death before the face of heaven? Eh… I failed the task. Bring me something that will help me sober up.
Where can I find the stone of sobriety?
To fulfill the request of the Drunken Boar, you need to bring him a stone of sobriety. There are two ways you can get it. The first is to buy it in the store from the Stone Man for 6480 will.
To unlock this shop, you will first have to obtain and bring the “Essence of Stone”, and then fight the boss. We wrote more about this in a separate guide:
The second way is to find the Stone of Sobriety in Windreach Village. To do this, move to the altar “House of the Yellow Wind (Windreach Bridge)”. Face the altar, and then go across the stone bridge to your left.
After crossing the bridge, turn left and go up the stone steps. Then go up the steps to your right and go to the left corner of the yard. In a small wooden shed there is a pot glowing golden. Inside it lies the Stone of Sobriety.
If you bought the stone in the shop earlier, you will get the legendary medicine “Ascension Powder” here. You cannot have two stones of sobriety at once.
Now return to the Drunken Boar and give him the stone. After that, he will tell you that he is hungry and will offer to meet at the Temple of the Crouching Tiger:

Move to the altar of the “Temple of the Crouching Tiger (Temple Entrance)” and climb the stone stairs almost to the very top. In a small niche on the right you will see our old friend the Drunken Boar.
He will ask you to bring him a juicy jade lotus. If you do not have this ingredient in stock, then return to the altar and buy it in the store. After that, the Drunken Boar will tell you a story about the Golden Kingdom and the Yellow Wind guaia, and then go to take the piece of gold to its place.
