Concord, the FPS from Firewalk, has had a disastrous launch on Steam: the numbers recorded by the new multiplayer project of the PlayStation ecosystem are really low, but the situation has worsened in a short time. The crew of the Northstar continues to fail, and the space outlaws who populate the servers of the title are too few.
According to data released by the official SteamDB page, there are only 300 simultaneous online players on the Steam version of Concord. The numbers, far from Sony’s most optimistic expectations, refer to the most recent update of Valve’s client database. Paradoxically, however, the number of users currently active (which is exactly 301 units) is not the lowest value recorded by the newborn production.
At 11:00 today, in fact, Concord dropped to 254 concurrent users on Steam, with a decline reached in less than 24 hours since the title’s debut on the most popular platform on PC. The 5vs5 multiplayer FPS by Firewalk and PlayStation did not attract the public right away: to many, Concord seemed out of time, due to the many years of development that were necessary to create a title that failed to reach the target of projects of the caliber of Overwatch and beyond.
At this point, we just have to wait for the future to find out what the fate of the new game will be. Have you tried your hand at discovering the FPS developed by the guys at Firewalk? If so, are you satisfied with what the team has created or are you among Concord’s detractors? Don’t hesitate to let us know your opinions below in the comments. We look forward to seeing you!
