On the eve of the premiere of the Star Wars action adventure under the auspices of Ubisoft, GameSpot released a detailed video titled “How Massive Entertainment Brings Its Unique Voice to Star Wars Outlaws.”
In it, the entire team told about the process of creating the new product. For example, it has a cinematic mode, for which the developers made digital “camera lenses” on the Snowdrop Engine in the spirit of real lenses from the 70s and 80s.
The 21:9 format, 24 fps, graininess and other effects turn the game into another movie about a galaxy far, far away, only an interactive one.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on PC (Ubisoft Store, EGS), including via Ubisoft+ subscription, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 30 (August 27 as part of early access).
