To celebrate the airing of the Season 2 of the show Rings of Power on Prime Videoset for tomorrow, August 29, 2024, Amazon has thought it would be a good idea to give not one, but three gifts to gamers with an active Prime Gaming subscription.
Starting today, August 28, 2024, all Prime Gaming subscribers (a benefit included in the Amazon Prime membership) can redeem and/or play three Lord of the Rings-inspired video games for free. We are talking, specifically, about LEGO The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War, all obtainable through Prime Gaming Rewards Page.
As for LEGO The Lord of the Rings and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Amazon is offering free keys for the PC versions that can be redeemed on GOG.com. Once you’ve linked them to your account, they’ll be yours forever in DRM-free format, meaning you can download, copy, and play them anywhere you want.
Unlike the other two, Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be playable on Amazon Luna until September 30, at no additional cost to those already paid for the Prime subscription. For those who don’t know, Amazon Luna is a streaming gaming service that can be used on Windows PC (via Chrome and Edge browsers), MAC, Chromebook, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, iPhone, iPad, Android mobile devices, Samsung TV and LG TV.
