ASUS showcased new Vivobook Flip series laptops with Microsoft Copilot+ support at IFA 2024. The devices feature Intel Core Ultra Series 2 (Lunar Lake) processors, OLED displays, and the ability to work autonomously for up to 25 hours.
Particular attention at the exhibition was drawn to the Vivobook Flip convertibles in 14-inch and 16-inch versions with Copilot+ support, offering maximum flexibility thanks to four usage modes: laptop, tablet, stand and “tent”.
Both models are powered by the Intel Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor, which delivers 47 TOPS of AI performance and includes the Xe2 ARC GPU. How notes OC3D, in performance tests, the Vivobook Flip with Core Ultra 7 showed 40% faster CPU performance and 82% faster graphics performance compared to the previous generation of processors.
ASUS has also paid great attention to battery life. Vivobook Flip can work up to 25 hours on a single charge, which is made possible by batteries with a capacity of 70 Wh for the 14-inch model and 75 Wh for the 16-inch model. In addition, fast charging technology has been implemented, allowing you to fill the battery up to 60% in just 49 minutes.
The Vivobook Flip laptops come with a wide range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack. There’s also a built-in microSD card reader and Pen 2.0 support for a more convenient touchscreen experience. Depending on the configuration, the Vivobook Flip can be equipped with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X and a PCIe 4.0 SSD with a capacity of up to 1TB. Both models feature OLED displays, but the 14-inch version has a 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz, while the 16-inch version has a resolution of up to 3K and 120Hz, respectively. Support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard ensures maximum data transfer speeds when connected to compatible wireless networks.
The new Vivobook Flip models will go on sale within a month.
