Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown may not have been a commercial hit, but Ubisoft isn’t done with the acclaimed Metroidvania action-adventure just yet. In June, the company announced that its first and only paid story DLC, Mask of Darkness, would be arriving sometime in September, and while a specific release date is still unknown, it looks like that’s about to change.
Ubisoft recently showed off a sneak peek of the upcoming expansion on Twitter. The short clip shows a blood-red moon looking out over a ruined, ominous environment before it is eclipsed and a creepy-looking giant hand appears in the sky and grabs it. Nothing else is shown, but it seems likely that Ubisoft is gearing up for a larger reveal of the expansion, presumably along with a specific release date, especially since DLD is set to release this month.
