Warner Bros. released Hogwarts Legacy early last year, which became a huge hit. The game sold over 24 million copies in about a year, and there have been rumors that the developers are actively working on a sequel. This is confirmed by company representatives, who called the continuation of the adventure one of the main priorities for the coming years.
Warner Bros. CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels during an interview at the Bank of America 2024 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference toldthat a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is a priority for the game’s direction “for the next couple of years”:
“Obviously, the Hogwarts Legacy sequel is one of the top priorities for the next couple of years. So this (games) business will certainly contribute significantly to our growth in a strategic perspective.”
Wiedenfels also admitted once again that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was a “miss.”
