A reboot of “Carmen Sandiego” is on the way. Gameloft and Netflix Games have provided the first trailer and some information about it.

The puzzle adventure game “Carmen Sandiego” was announced at the start of this week. It features a story-driven campaign in which Carmen uses espionage and high-tech gadgets to defeat the evil VILE.
It is the reboot of the video game series that started in 1985. It is scheduled to be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
In this game, you no longer hunt Carmen – you are Carmen.

Carmen Sandiego is the master of espionage
This means that you do not take control of the pursuer, but play Carmen herself. This allows you to concentrate fully on espionage. Player is always at your side, helping you navigate through missions, solve puzzles and outwit VILE agents.
All the investigative fun of the original core game is on offer. This includes collecting clues and tracking down VILE agents around the world. The ability to explore cities in an immersive way is completely new. A classic mode called “The Acme Files” also serves as a homage to the spin-offs of the 80s.
You can explore the following cities on your adventure:
Reykjavic, Iceland – one of the cleanest and greenest cities in the world. Accra, Ghana – offers a unique blend of 19th century colonial architecture and modern skyscrapers. Cairo, Egypt – it is the perfect place to explore Egyptian history and culture. Jaipur, India – one of the three corners of the popular Golden Triangle. Tokyo, Japan – the most populous metropolis in the world. Brisbane, Australia – a warm and sunny city with many parks and gardens.
By the way, there is a Animated series on NetflixHere you can see the master thief who fights for good. Together with her team, she travels the entire world to fight the international league of criminals. Four seasons are available.
