Ubisoft has released update 1.1.2 for “Star Wars Outlaws”. In addition to the introduction of cross-progression via Ubisoft Connect, the update includes numerous bug fixes and optimizations, including improvements to the stealth mechanics.
With the new patch for “Star Wars Outlaws,” Ubisoft is responding to early player feedback and improving several aspects of the open-world title. Update 1.1.2 offers various optimizations, especially in terms of performance and stability.
Also highlighted are the new cross-progression and revisions to the stealth missions, which are now supposed to be less frustrating.
Optimizations for stealth and stability
One of the biggest changes concerns the aforementioned stealth missions in “Star Wars Outlaws”. They were previously criticized for their high difficulty. A revision is intended to make the gaming experience more pleasant in the future.
Players will now be less likely to be detected during certain activities and the detection level will be adjusted depending on the character’s position.
In addition to changes to the stealth mechanics, update 1.1.2 for “Star Wars Outlaws” also includes stability and performance improvements. “Various crash fixes and stability improvements” have been made for all platforms. This includes “improving FPS drops during some scenes.” There are also “graphics and lighting fixes.”
On PC, players will also benefit from “performance optimizations throughout the game,” which should include improved frame rates and more stable graphics performance, among other things.

The list of minor adjustments and bug fixes also includes improved graphics, especially with support for ultrawide screens, and audio corrections. The user interface and settings have also been optimized. The latter changes include:
Game version is now visible in settings. Quality mode is set as default on console. Fixed default motion blur settings in quality mode for consoles. HDR brightness values have been changed.
