Microsoft has officially announced the launch of its Game Pass Standard subscription tier, which gives Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S console players access to multiplayer and hundreds of games, but excludes day-one releases and EA Play titles.
What games are not included in Game Pass Standard
Below is a complete list of 129 games that are currently available on Game Pass Ultimate but not on Game Pass Standard. The list also highlights titles that are available on the Ultimate subscription tier through EA Play.
As you can see, Game Pass Standard is missing many Day One releases from 2024 at launch, as well as some hits that came out last year. In particular, this subscription level does not include Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, and many other games, including those from Xbox studios.
According to Microsoft, games that are available in Game Pass Ultimate will be added to Game Pass Standard “after 12 months or more.” The company will decide on a case-by-case basis. Some games from Game Pass Ultimate will never make it to Game Pass Standard, such as Day One releases that are only included for a year.
