Under the leadership of Motomu Toriyama, the Square Enix team is actively developing the third part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake. When asked by journalists when to expect an official presentation, Toriyama hinted that it could happen even earlier than they expected, but not as quickly as they would like.
The project is currently in active development, and although the company’s plans may change, the team is already pleased with its current achievements and is preparing to present the results to the general public next year.
The game is expected to be released closer to September 2025, as Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis celebrates its anniversary this month.
