A few weeks before the release, the system requirements for the remake of Until Dawn have been determined, as have the platform-specific additional features.
The horror classic Until Dawn is getting a remake, which will be released not only for the PS5, but also for the PC. Anyone who wants to buy it on this platform will of course have to meet the system requirements with their computer – and these have now been announced in advance.
The system requirements are as follows:
Minimum (720p, 30 fps)
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 / Radeon RX 470 with 6 GB VRAM Memory: 8 GB RAM
Medium (1080p, 60 fps)
Processor: Intel Core i5 8600 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 6600XT Memory: 16 GB RAM
Hoch (1440p, 60 fps / 4K, 30 fps)
Processor: Intel Core i5 8600 / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 / AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Memory: 16 GB RAM
Very high (4K, 60 fps)
Processor: Intel Core i7 11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6900XT Memory: 16 GB RAM
On the PC, the remake of Until Dawn will also support some platform-specific features. There will be comprehensive ray tracing support and there is no cap on the frame rate. Ultrawide monitors in 21:9, 32:9 and more formats are supported, as are the manufacturer-specific features NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 or AMD FSR 3.1 in terms of upscaling and frame generation.
Also pleasing: The DualSense will also be fully integrated on the PC, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Until Dawn will be released on October 4th for PC and PlayStation 5.
