Age of Wonders 4 grows and thrives with the new Expansion Pass. Herald of Glory available today, with three more DLCs coming soon.
Paradox Interactive today released a new expansion pass for its award-winning fantasy strategy game Age of Wonders 4.
The new Expansion Pass is available now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and includes four DLCs in one package, with the first expansion, Herald of Glory, available now.
The other three DLCs will be available to download in the coming months as they are released and will also be sold individually at a later date. Age of Wonders 4: Expansion Pass 2 is available from today at the recommended retail price of 49.99 euros.
The next expansion for Expansion Pass 2 is Ways of War, scheduled to release on November 5, 2024 for all platforms. Ways of War will challenge players to approach conflict in new and creative ways. This includes introducing oath-swearing culture, fighting treacherous new intrigue events, and deploying powerful new spell books. The expansion will be available individually for a recommended retail price of 14.99 euros or can be downloaded by Expansion Pass 2 owners at no additional cost.

Oathsworn culture is based on unique warrior codes that reward those strong enough to adhere to its ethos. One can swear the Oath of Righteousness to focus on destroying evil, the Oath of Combat to wage war only against the strong and worthy, or the Oath of Harmony to try to avoid war whenever this is possible. In search of ancient treasures, they delve deep beneath the surface, harness long-forgotten crystal magic, and discover the power of a fallen empire. This expansion includes a new giant ruler type, adds new dwellings and hand-crafted map regions to the game, and will be released in Q2 2025. It will be available individually at a recommended retail price of 19.99 euros. Archon Prophecy: The forces of light stand by players in a great war against the corruption of Urrath. By consulting the oracles, they can influence their own fate and that of the realms through hidden prophecies. Includes new culture, new prophecy events, and new story content releasing in Q3 2025. The expansion will be available individually for a recommended retail price of 19.99 euros.
