The developers of the third-person action game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 published the September issue of Community Update, in which they shared achievements since the release of the game and plans for the coming months. Let us remind you that the game was released on September 9, and during this time it received a lot of positive feedback from fans of the Warhammer universe.
The team expressed gratitude for the support and active participation in the life of the game. They noted that the number of players continues to grow, and the activity of the community is impressive. Users not only enthusiastically fight xenos, but also share their impressions, which is very important for further work on the project.
A hotfix will be released soon that will solve problems with game crashes and improve overall stability. In the future, the developers plan to introduce several significant quality of life improvements, including new customization options, such as additional colors for the lenses of Space Marine helmets. A free 4K Texture Pack will also be available for PC players to enjoy high-quality graphics in 4K resolution.
October will bring with it new content – a map for the Operations mode, which will take place on the planet Kadaku. The Tyranids have almost completed their invasion, and the planet is gradually being reduced to biomass, feeding the Hive fleets. Space Marines must arrive on the planet and help Cadia’s forces destroy the Tyranid towers to make it difficult for the xenos to win. Below is the first screenshot of the new map.
The developers are actively working to fix bugs and have already released an important update that fixed many problems. Among the key changes:
Added a private mode for Operations. Added support for ultra-wide screens on PC. Fixed respawns in multiplayer. Changes were made to the balance of enemies in campaigns and Operations mode. Fixed bugs that prevented players from completing some levels.
The developers also paid attention to the problem of offensive behavior in the game. They stated that they will not tolerate negative and aggressive speech and will take measures to prevent such situations. Players were reminded that it is always important to remain respectful of others, as anyone can be behind the avatar, including Henry Cavill himself.
Starting in September, Community Updates will be released monthly to keep players up to date with new features, patches, and future plans.
