As promised, on November 27, a large-scale autumn sale started on the Steam digital distribution service. Along with the promotion, the selection of nominees for the annual Steam Award opened.

According to Valve, discounts were received as part of the Steam Fall Sale “thousands of games of a wide variety of genres and themes”. For ease of navigation, the offers on the main page are divided into categories and genres.
Following the Steam Summer Sale, the Fall Sale debuted the “Big Discounts” section with especially great deals on “some of the best games of all time”. For example, Darkest Dungeon for 70 rubles (−92%).
Below are the most notable games of the Steam autumn sale, released in 2024/2023 and available on Russian Steam:
As for the Steam Award, users can nominate (this must be done before the end of the sale) their favorite games from 2024 (in the “Favorite Child” category they are allowed to choose older products) for one of 11 categories:
- “Game of the Year”;
- “Game of the Year in Virtual Reality”;
- “Beloved Child”;
- “A friend is made in the game”;
- “Outstanding Visual Style”;
- “The most innovative gameplay”;
- “The best game you can’t play”;
- “Best Soundtrack”;
- “Best Game with an Outstanding Story”;
- “Best Game on Steam Deck”;
- “Make yourself comfortable.”
The five finalists in each category will be revealed before the winter sale (starts on December 19). Voting will open with its start and close on December 31 at 21:00 Moscow time – the winners will be announced at the same time.
