The Russian studio Cyberia Nova, in a press release to the media, shared information about the successes of the historical action role-playing game “The Time of Troubles” and interactive tutorials from the “Time of Troubles” series.
As Cyberia Nova reported in a press release, the total number of downloads of “Troubles” and “Time of Troubles” applications on the VK Play platform and the official website of the developers has reached one million.
According to Andrei Voronkov, Deputy General Director of the Internet Development Institute (IRI), the mentioned training modules attracted “a very significant number of downloads in total volume”.
It is worth noting that “The Time of Troubles” is available on VK Play for money, while the “Time of Troubles” study guides are distributed free of charge. According to the Komsomolskaya Pravda publication, in early November, sales of the game were “almost 1 million” copies
The head of Cyberia Nova, Alexey Koptsev, added that a million downloads was one of the main conditions for providing government funding to “Time of Troubles” – Iran allocated about 600 million rubles for the main game and “Time of Troubles”.
“Today we have crossed this mark and completed a difficult but important task. We are grateful to the Internet Development Institute for supporting the project, comprehensive assistance, and the trust placed in us.”– shared Koptsev.
“Troubles” was released on April 4 on VK Play. The game is based on the novel “Yuri Miloslavsky, or the Russians in 1612.” The Zemsky Sobor add-on is expected to be released in 2025. The developers are also already thinking about a sequel.
