Earlier this week, fans waited for the final system requirements of the open-world shooter STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, however, as it turned out, the developers from the GSC Game World studio were not completely frank.
Let us remember that at the announcement of the final “appetites” of the PC version of the game, GSC did not say anything about the use of intelligent scaling to achieve the resolution and performance indicators specified in the four configurations.
In the comments, numerous users doubted that such a “heavy” game as STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl would not need upscalers – and they turned out to be right.
The STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl community manager on Discord under the pseudonym Mol1t, in response to a player’s question, confirmed that the system requirements were compiled taking into account intelligent scaling.
“To achieve similar performance on a PC with the specified characteristics, you should use the TSR upscaler when playing on minimum settings and DLSS, TSR and their analogues on medium, high and epic”Mol1t explained.
At the release, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will receive support not only for TSR (Temporal Super Resolution) and Nvidia DLSS 3, but also for scaling technology from AMD – FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution).
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on November 20 on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass. They promise an open world, hardcore gameplay, graphics on Unreal Engine 5 and translation into Russian.
