Russian studio Ninsar Games announced the release of its sci-fi tactical role-playing game “Saturn” on Steam. The project came to the Valve service not alone, but with a new patch.
The release of “Saturn” on Steam was delayed due to moderation, but after its completion there was already a little time left until the new version (it is also available on other platforms), so Ninsar Games decided to combine the releases.
In update 1.14, the developers increased performance, tried to finally solve the problem of crashes, fixed the most common bugs and implemented the most popular features among players:
- in the store you can now buy and sell several items at once;
- properties of consumable items and status effects are displayed in the interface;
- closed points on the map now have names;
- a hotkey was made to call the PDA, and the buttons for calling the quick access panel and changing weapons were changed;
- the card is now compatible with 4:3 format screens;
- reworked some mechanics and logic of some quests.
In the near future, the Saturn team plans to release mobile versions of the game and Russian voice acting (the GamesVoice studio is responsible for it). Also on the horizon is a free expansion that will add new content and expand the world of the game.
The events of “Saturn” take place in 2062 on Earth and the satellites of Saturn – a signal from space turned artificial intelligence against its creators. In the role of scientist Akim Kovalev, players will have to stop the end of the world.
Thus, “Saturn” has already been released on Steam, VK Play and on the official website of Ninsar Games. Thanks to the support of the Internet Development Institute, the game is distributed free of charge and contains no advertising or microtransactions.
The Ninsar Games office is located in St. Petersburg. The team includes specialists who had a hand in such projects as Divinity: Original Sin 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Encased.
