In September 2023, Party Animals was released on Xbox and PC consoles, after many years of anticipation. The project remained on the list of the most anticipated Steam releases for about a year, and at the start it became a console exclusive for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, plus appeared in the Game Pass subscription. Now it has become known that it will soon be removed from the gaming service.
The developers of Party Animals announced on their social networks that they will remove the game from Game Pass at the end of December. This is a rather rare situation when the studio itself warns a month before removal from the subscription that its game will soon leave the service. According to the developers, they want to thank subscribers of the service and offer them a discount on Party Animals, which will be valid from January 1 to January 31, 2025:
Our Xbox Game Pass contract for Party Animals expires on December 31, 2024. To thank Game Pass players for their support, we are offering a 50% discount on the game from January 1st to January 31st, 2025 for Game Pass members.
Note that Party Animals is often included in the TOP 10 games on Game Pass. The project itself is a fighting game about animals, based on a realistic physical interaction engine.
