The well-known horror studio Bloober Team released the game Silent Hill 2 on Playstation 5 and PC this fall, which IGN recognized as the best in the genre in history. It is expected that the project will be a Sony console exclusive for a year, after which it may appear on Xbox consoles.
In turn, the Bloober Team, which was responsible for the development of Silent Hill 2, has already taken up the new game. According to Wojciech Pejko, who acts as the game director of Cronos: The New Dawn at the studio, there are two separate teams in Bloober Team. Therefore, the authors of Silent Hill 2 have already taken on a new project, and did not help in the creation of Cronos:
We have 2 independent production teams in our studio. Each of them works independently, but at the same time they interact with each other and share the experience they have accumulated from creating previous projects such as Medium, Observer, Layers of Fear, Silent Hill 2 and Blair Witch. Having completed work on Silent Hill 2, the team moves on to pre-production of the new project.
Let us remind you that the release of Cronos: The New Dawn is scheduled for 2025. This is a project for a new franchise that will be released on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC.
