“Basis” virtualization solutions became the basis of the “KII Cloud” – the first secure cloud on the Russian market, built on domestic solutions and capable of hosting critical information infrastructure (CII) objects.
The solutions were successfully tested for compatibility with other components of the imported cloud: network equipment, servers and storage systems, as well as system software, such as Russian operating systems. In addition, other solutions included in the Basis ecosystem will soon become available to clients of the KII Cloud: the Basis Workplace desktop virtualization platform, the Basis Digital Energy DevOps pipeline for organizing the full cycle of development and testing, and a backup tool. Kubernetes clusters and Basis Virtual Protect virtual machines.
“KII Cloud” is the first multi-tenant secure cloud in Russia, built on domestic software and hardware solutions, was launched by the RTK-DPC provider in October of this year. At the moment this is the only such product on the market. Clients can already order IaaS services, i.e. place in the cloud, for example, geolocation and monitoring systems, warehouse management and logistics, production analytics, as well as medical, banking and other information systems. The appearance of PaaS and SaaS services is planned for next year.

The security of the “KII Cloud” is confirmed by a certificate of compliance with the requirements of FSTEC Order No. 239, which allows you to place in it KII objects up to category 2 of significance inclusive and provide a secure connection for users to it. At the same time, this cloud is certified in accordance with the requirements for the processing of personal data of the 1st level of security, as well as the requirements for the protection of information of state information systems of the 1st class. Users of the CII Cloud services can primarily be organizations that are CII subjects, but the product is also suitable for large commercial companies that pay special attention to protecting their information systems.
