BioWare is in no hurry to reveal what exactly the next Mass Effect will be about, but the studio’s executive producer and head of development of the new game, Michael Gamble, hinted at what fans can expect.

As noted by the GamesRadar portal, Gamble recently wrote on his microblog that he advised fans of the DLC for the original trilogy, in which “definitely worth playing” is the Lair of the Shadow Broker addon for Mass Effect 2.
“So many new Mass Effect fans in my feed. Perhaps because (Legendary Edition) is currently $5. Class. There’s a whole game’s worth of DLC content, but Lair of the Shadow Broker is definitely worth playing.”said Gamble.
For $5, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition collection, for example, can be purchased as part of the Steam autumn sale (outside Russia)
Let us recall that in the plot of Lair of the Shadow Broker, xenoarchaeologist Liara T’Soni turns to Captain Shepard for help with the hunt for the Shadow Broker, an influential information dealer.
There will be more spoilers to the addition from 14 years ago: as a result of the mission, Liara becomes the new Shadow Broker, which is subsequently reflected in Mass Effect 3.
It’s worth noting that Liara is also the only character from the original trilogy to appear in teasers for the new Mass Effect. The heroine became the main star of the video almost four years ago.
Liara will probably play an important role in the next part. After the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard in BioWare “entirely” switched to the new Mass Effect, although there is no release on the horizon yet.
